The GPU prediction acceleration builds and expands on our recent software optimizations, that resulted in faster calculations, predictions, file save times, and file-size reductions. With a supported NVIDIA graphics accelerator, the new improvements lead to even faster prediction times for large and complex projects. 

This advancement not only accelerates wireless network design but also enhances design accuracy by reducing the time required for optimizations.

It’s important to note that when using GPU Acceleration, performance will depend highly on the selection of the GPU and CPU pairing in the system. The GPU will perform rapid mathematical computations, but only as fast as the CPU, SSD, and RAM of the PC can provide that data to the graphics card.

With the optimal GPU and CPU pairing and PC setup, you can potentially save even tens of hours on each prediction run on very complex projects with multiple wireless services, such as stadiums, airports, or other large buildings. The time savings tend to scale with the project’s size, complexity, and number of wireless services.
